Central blue zone

Monday to Saturday 9-14 h and 17-20:30 h; Sundays and public holidays free. Rates: 0.45 EUR (18 min minimum), 2.00 EUR (1 h), 4.05 EUR (2 h), 6.05 EUR (3 h maximum). Streets include Pelegrí Ballester, Francesc Macià, Dr. Fleming, Rambla Salvador Samà, Josep Coroleu, Pius X, Pare Garí, Unió, Av. del Garraf, Llibertat and Plaça Tetuan. Enforcement is by licence plate (no windscreen ticket) since 2024.

Seafront blue zone

Passeig de Ribes Roges, Plaça d’Adarró, Parc de Ribes Roges and Pujada del Far de Sant Cristòfol: 1 May-15 June weekends and holidays 9-14 and 16-20 h; 16 June-15 September daily 9-14 and 16-21 h; free the rest of the year. Passeig Marítim, Passeig del Carme and Dic de Ponent: 16 June-15 September daily 9-14 and 16-21 h; rest of the year weekends and holidays 9-14 and 16-20 h. Barri de Mar (C. Llibertat, Conxita Soler, del Gas): 1 May-15 September daily 9-14 and 16-21 h; 16 September-30 April Monday-Saturday 9-14 and 17-20:30 h.

Blue zone rates: Sant Cristòfol, Eixample de Mar, Passeig Marítim and Prat de Vilanova

Standard rate: 0.50 EUR (18 min), 1.90 EUR (1 h), 4.00 EUR (2 h), 6.15 EUR (3 h), 6.70 EUR (5 h), 7.25 EUR (7 h), 7.70 EUR (9 h maximum). Reduced rate for owners who pay the Vilanova vehicle tax (IVTM) and are up to date: from 0.50 EUR for the first hour to 3.20 EUR for 9 h (applied automatically by plate). Solar Av. Cubelles: standard 1.05 EUR (1 h) to 7.50 EUR (9 h).

Green zones (residents)

Green areas in Ribes Roges (preferential), Barri de Mar (exclusive) and Prat de Vilanova, following the same calendar as the seafront blue zone (1 May-15 June weekends and holidays; 16 June-15 September daily until 21 h; free the rest of the year in Ribes Roges and Barri de Mar). Free for residents with a permit. Non-residents in Ribes Roges: 0.95 EUR (18 min), 3.85 EUR (1 h), up to 11.90 EUR (9 h).

Free parking

The council marks free parking areas at: Ronda Europa 39-45, C. Àncora (station area), Passeig del Carme, Av. Rocacrespa / Av. Sis Camins, C. Margalló / C. del Montgrós, Av. Vilafranca, Ronda Ibèrica / Rambla Sant Jordi (sports area) and Ronda Ibèrica (Hospital). Rules may change; follow the street signs.

Park-and-ride / deterrent car parks

Jutjats-Ronda Ibèrica (320 vehicles, about 800 m from the Centre market), Hospital-Ronda Ibèrica (240 vehicles, about 700 m from Plaça de la Vila), Ronda d’Europa-ITV (120 vehicles, 6 min on foot from Far beach) and Ronda d’Europa-Far (150 vehicles). In summer a bus links Ronda d’Europa with the beaches. Deterrent rate: 0.40 EUR (1 h) to 2.15 EUR (9 h), free for residents; Jutjats/Hospital Monday-Saturday 9-14 and 17-20:30 h, Sundays and holidays free.

Parking at the station and beaches

Next to the station there is a paid car park at Plaça d’Eduard Maristany (Renfe) and free parking on C. Àncora (station area); for the beaches, use the Passeig Marítim and Ribes Roges blue/green zones (see hours) or the Ronda d’Europa deterrent car parks with a summer bus. The Renfe car park price is unverified.

Motorcycles and motorhomes

The Charlie Rivel (26 motorcycle spaces) and Casernes (30 motorcycle spaces) car parks offer motorcycle spaces; monthly motorcycle pass 41 EUR. The council website lists no dedicated motorcycle parking zone or municipal motorhome area; no official area could be verified.
